The mountains are not just for those on foot: Around 480 km of cycling and mountain bike trails with various degrees of difficulty and descents await you in the Salzburg Saalachtal region. Ambitious bikers can tackle challenging trails with exciting downhill routes and tricky single trails. Wonderful, well-signposted cycling routes such as the Sculpture Trail pass through the sunny valley basin, delighting cycling fans. Make a stop at one of the romantic spots along the trails for a picnic, or relax in one of the restaurants.

Cyclists and mountain bikers will feel right at home here. This also applies to e-bikers, with a wide range of cycle paths available to reach the most beautiful sights with minimal effort. Local sports shops offer e-bike hire and batteries can be charged at many of the valley and mountain charging stations.
